Submission Guidelines

Submissions for KRNT are accepted on an ongoing basis. We accept short stories, poetry, creative nonfiction, interviews and micro stories.

Each submission is considered for publication in the upcoming issue.  We welcome literary and artistic experiments.

We accept original work with the understanding that the authors have adhered to the ethical conventions of producing such texts.

We accept simultaneous submissions but also expect the authors to notify us in case the submission has been accepted elsewhere.

We do not consider popular genres: romance, crime fiction, horror, fantasy, and conspiracy theories.

Each submission goes through a rigorous review and editing process.

There is no limit to minimum word count however it is recommended that the short stories may not exceed 5000 words.

The authors and readers are free to quote, cite and reproduce the content with proper acknowledgements, of course.

At KRNT we believe in unhindered accessibility to the published content therefore it is made instantly available as open access.

Submissions can be made via email and in pdf, doc, docx format.

We may publish the print version of selected publications/submissions in an anthology. We will ask for permissions prior to the publication of anthology.

The authors are not paid any compensation. However, we plan to announce writing competitions and awards.

Rights revert to authors after publication. We would like to be acknowledged as the first publishers.

Please send your writings to submissions(at)krnt(dot)io.
